How I work

Approaches to support your therapeutic journey

I take a person-centred, relational and evidence-based approach to therapy. I draw from different therapeutic models depending on what brings you in, what feels useful to you, and what we are working toward together.

Some approaches help us understand patterns. Some give us practical tools. Some help us process experiences that still feel emotionally unfinished.

Usually, therapy involves a combination.

There is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy.

Different Approaches to Therapy

Complex Trauma

An evidence-based therapy that can help process distressing experiences, trauma and memories that continue to feel stuck.

IFS & Parts Work

Understanding the parts of yourself, including the ones that protect, criticize, avoid, overwork, people-please or shut down, with curiosity.

ACT

Learning to make room for difficult internal experiences while becoming clearer about your values and moving toward what matters to you.

Relational Therapy

Paying attention to what is happening in the present, how you relate to yourself, other people and the therapeutic relationship.

CBT-I

Treatment for insomnia that works with the behavioural, cognitive and physiological processes that can keep sleep problems going

Person-Centred

A collaborative approach grounded in empathy, authenticity, and the belief that therapy should fit the person, not the other way around.

The Process & What to Expect

Therapy can be deep without feeling cold or overly clinical.
